So how did we come up with the names we picked. Well We went through a book together. The first names are the names we liked together.
Charlie
Tatum
Penelope
Massie
Michelle loves Charlianna but only a few other people like it like that. But it's a name I like and not everyone else has. Now how did we pick the middle names. they are people we know. Trust me we tried tons of names from Brandy, Samantha, and Tanya to Benjamin, Matthew and Lyricx. Some just don't flow to us.
Madysen: Is one of my 2nd cousins. She's super fun. Super lovable and just an awesome person.
Christine: Is one of my sisters. She's been in our lives for many many years and her name just goes with some of the names we have picked out.
Prue: Michelle and Jeremy just loves this name. Yes it's from Charmed. But it's a super cute name.
Nicole: This name is not only my cousins name but one of my bestfriends growing up. She was such a good friend and it's the least I could do to thank her.
Now on to boy names. Michelle doesn't like common names and Jeremy doesn't like uncommon names. So our list went from lots to little in no time.

and now middle names
Elec: Michelle likes Elec not Alec. It's a middle name of a firend of hers she had growing up. And shes just always liked it.
Benjamin: Is Michelle's brothers name. 'Nough said :)
Parker: Is from the movie Bones. Or tv show I should say. But we like it. We don't know a Parker.
Thomas: Is Michelle'c cousins name who is serving the Army. Is is funny and awesome and we can't wait til Jer gets to meet him.

Jeremy & Michelle Clements
This and That
Jeremy and Michelle met and started dating on November 24th, 2007. However the night that they met was not how they had planned at all. Michelle had spent Thanksgiving with family and, then went out with her cousin Tanya [pronounced Tonya] and her co-worker/friend Tanya. While Jeremy was out with his friend Petey. It had been the first time Jeremy had really been out since he tore his ACL playing softball.
As a matter of fact Michelle & Jeremy barely spoke the entire time they were hanging out. Jeremy kept trying to get Michelle to dance with his friend Petey. While he danced with T & T. Michelle tried to find Jeremy online but couldn't seem to find the picture he told her about when they did talk. But to her surprise Jeremy had gotten her number and asked if she wanted to hang out. Michelle being the party pooper that she is refused and ended up planning on seeing August Rush with her cousin Samantha. When Jeremy's plans stunk he called Michelle back up and we invited him to come see August Rush with us. When they were leaving the movie Jeremy gave Michelle a hug and then end is pretty much history. Except for the rest of our story. Which you will find out reading this blog.

Michelle made is VERY clear from the beginning that if Jeremy didn't want to get married or have kids then he needed to look elsewhere. Michelle's always had dreams of having a big family. After all she does have 5 siblings. Jer emy didn't seemed bothered by it. As a matter of fact they even went through a book of baby names and narrowed it down to there "Top 10". Let's just say some of the names have changed. Did we mention Michelle is obsessed with names? She's working on writing a book about names.
Back to the engagement details. Michelle and Jeremy talked many times about marriage. Michelle didn't want to move in with someone again if she wasn't engaged to them while Jeremy didn't want to get engaged before moving in together. He wanted to make sure Michelle wasn't a completely different person once they moved in. Michelle finally caved and they moved in together in August of 2008. In late October to early November Michelle told Jeremy that they were getting married on June 20th, 2009. Jeremy's response "okay," Michelle said "I'm telling your mom." Jeremy's response again "okay." Michelle told Jeremy "Fine then I'm telling my mom AND my sister." Jeremy's response. "Works for me."
So there you have it. That's how Michelle and Jeremy got engaged. Not the hot air balloon ride like Michelle had hoped for all those years. But she was finally engaged. Not just to anyone to Jeremy. The ONLY guy who she can't stay mad at EVEN when she tries.

I Do
Due to planning issues Michelle & Jeremy had to decide if they wanted their wedding to be sooner or later than June 20th, 2009. Michelle was really hoping for a Spring/Summer wedding and didn't want to wait until 2010. The venue they were planning on hosting the wedding and reception only had either early April or May, 30th, 2009. They didn't like the idea that it was so close to memorial weekend. They knew many people would have been traveling and wouldn't have the money to travel. Much to their surprise only about 3-5% of they're guests didn't show.
Michelle wasn't really excited for the wedding. She hurt her back March 1st, 2009 at work and had been undergoing a lot of doctors appointments, therapy and pain. With doctors orders to push herself to be more active to see if it will help her back she tried small steps such as going tanning, walks and, even doing more chores around the house.
There were a few complications with the wedding. The music Michelle had spent hours on planning to have playing during the wedding wasn't set up at all. But thanks to Paul, Brian and Sara we had a few last minute songs :) You guys did great. There were also a few other mishaps but, nothing that the whole world needs to know. By the end of the night Michelle was due for another soaking in the hot tub to help reduce her pain while her newlywed husband went and hung out with his friends. Then wedding had to be done and cleaning up by midnight and it was. Thanks for everyone who went around and helped set up and clean up.
